Santana Row Exotic Car Meet

It was a nice sunny morning on saturday so i decided to check out santana row. Every Saturday morning in Santana Row, there are usually some exotic car that roll out to socialize before the shopping crowd comes in. There was a good amount of cars that attended, but as i was arriving about 20 vettes were leaving. Jeff and Chad from photoshootmycar were in attendance snapping photos and getting some video coverage. It was good time to just relax and BS with some friends.

VIP meet in my backyard

My friend told me about a VIP that was happening at 9pm right at the starbucks on capitol and tully. I was definitly going to go to this because this was walking distance for me. Anyways i decided to hitch a ride with my dude Jeff. thanks man for picking me up! we got there around 9pm and there was a hand full of slammed, bagged, vip cars. from lexus to 240s there was about 20-30 cars. Ran into my friends josh, tom, alex, and met a couple of new peeps. It was pretty chill night untill the popo told everyone to go home at 11pm. Also the lighting was horrible for snapping photos. But due to my friends sb800 speedlight i got a couple of clean snaps. Hope they have this event soon but possibly in a different location that is close by.

Chillin with the Pro Photographer

Was on Aim in my engineering symposium and got an aim from my buddy jeff (photoshootmycar). He asked me what i was doing later that day and wanted to see if i wanted to "shoot the shit". ahha I was down to chill so i met him later that day at TapX and just hung out n viewed photos i took from wekfest. Then he wanted me to get a head shot of him so they can use it as his profile pic on a website. I got to ride in his badass matrix to a close by park near by. The sun was just going below the horizon yet the lighting was ok to shoot still. Afterwards we went over to my friend Ray's house to just see what he was doing. Following Ray's house, Jeff dropped me back off to my car at tapx and we would meet up again at the vip later that night.

Wekfest 2010

3 words! THE BEST SHOW! This was my first time attending wekfest and what can i say, it was the craziest and biggest show i have ever went to. I heard about there was about 10,000 people in attendence. Way more than last year. The line to get it was about a 2-3 hour wait that wrapped around Geary st. There was all types of cars from old school to vip to exotics. Lots of crews represented and many models were out and about. I had a great time, lucky i didnt have to wait it that long line because i arrived at 9am. Well.. im already hyped for next year.

React Crew Photoshoot

My friend Ariel told me he was coming down from SF with a couple of G37's and one other 350z. They were going to have a detail session at a friends house in the san jose area. Since wekfest was going to be on the next day, there cars were going to be looking really clean and he asked me if i wanted to shoot there cars after. It turned out to be not such a great day to detail since it started raining. Anyways my friend bobby and I still decided to catch them before they left to SF. We met them at TapX on capitol ex.way and the location i had in mine to shoot at was at Evergreen Valley College. It was close by and i liked this one spot that had a nice wall and not to much distracting background.

Friday SJSU parking garage shoot

This weekend was is getting pretty crazy. Today i organized a shoot at sjsu because i didnt have school. Then tomorow i have another shoot with a one of my friends coming down from SF to detail his car for wekfest on sunday. Finally there is the most anticipated car event of the year, Wekfest 2010 in Jtown SF.

Well today i had my friends Bobby and Chris come down from union city. Chris brought down his 8th gen civic si which i envy. haha. Also Alan's friend Thomas brought out his white ap1 s2k. Robert brought out his supercharged rolla and alan brought out his stockie rolla. we had a decent size meet u can say ahha. WE chose the 10th st. parking garage at sjsu b/c everyone liked it. I didnt take too many pics because i didnt like the arrangement, lighting, and i wasnt really feelin it. but it was all good. i think bobby, robert and alan got some nice shots. anyways here are some pics.

Sim's BMW 328i shoot

A high school friend was asking me to shoot his car for sometime now. I finally had a change to do so. He just installed some angel eyes to make his bimmer stand out for the crowd. His car is mainly stock expect for a chip that he put in and a system inside his car. Location of this shoot was in the evergreen hills of san jose.I choose this location because it was in close distance from our homes. Also my friend Bobby, another photographer in my crew just picked up his 50D and wanted to do some shooting. The sky and weather made the photos come out pretty good because I hate it when you have too much sun and pictures become overexposed or washed out since i dont have a polorized filter.

pics cannont be uploaded at this time due to difficulties. sorry

Quick Shoot with Kevin and Charles' Eclispes

My friends have been asking me too shoot their car for some time now and I finally had a chance to do so. I didnt feel like traveling to far since i didnt want them to waste lots of gas. We decided to head up the hills of Evergreen area in San Jose.
It was around 4pm ish so the sun was kind of at an angle but found out it was okay. For rolling shots I shot Charles's silver eclipse at around f10, iso 200, shutter speed at 1/80. My white balance was on sunlight. After the rolling shots we went to Evergreen College because i knew some good spots that had nice backgrounds.

First blog since last semester at sjsu

Last wekend my friends and i went to the Gillis MS bbq to find some really nice cars out there. The event was from 12ish till about 4ish. A good turnout of people and cars were there. People from HF,SW,WFC,@po crew, just to name a few were out there supporting.

Afterwards josh, bobby, alex, and me went to shoot some of our friends cars just for some more practice. Our location was the new Lowe's on Cottle rd in San Jose. i scouted this place awhile ago finding a nice clean wall with not alot of distractions. on the way there i had also a change to get some rolling shots on the freeway. anyways we kinda had to cut the shoot short since the security was trying to shoo us away.
